This can only happen once in a lifetime; the collection day of 27 R8 Spyders and Coupes from the Audi Forum at the factory in Ingolstadt, ALL TOGETHER!A group of friends got together and ordered their new R8s intentionally to make it quite a spectacle when they would pick them all up at one time. In total 25 cars were ordered but one could not attend the day, and in addition 3 guest cars would join in the event including an R8 Spyder for me to drive too. The selection and variety of colours made for quite a line-up in the handover room before Tom Kristensen (9 times Le Mans winner) lead the parade out in an R8 LMS racecar!
The majority then got underway in a convoy to start a road trip they are going on with their new cars, but what an amazing day o experience.
