After what has felt like a very long wait, my McLaren 675LT Spider has arrived! Being unloaded off the truck at Topaz Detailing, having come straight from McLaren Manchester we get our first look at the car in real life!

Finished in MSO Orion Purple with a Stone Grey leather and black alcantara interior, it has come out perfectly! The spec from a functional side is matched to that of my 675LT Coupe, but with a new visual appearance in the colouring and a few MSO touches including the toggles and carbon instrument panel with shift lights.

Getting us started at Topaz, the car goes straight for a wash prior to undergoing a detail and full Paint Protection Film that will follow – then it will be time for the official handover and my first drive.

This is a new experience as I head to Rockingham Motor Speedway with the American Race Car eXperience to get to drive a NASCAR on the loop!

ARCX put you behind the wheel, driving solo in full control of a serious old school racer. Setup for oval racing, it really is a totally different feeling but one that is totally mesmerising as you loop the oval with the car completely prepared for turning left!
