Cast-iron manifolds versus mid-length headers versus long-tube headers: Which one is best for you? In this episode of Engine Masters presented by AMSOIL, we again look to our loyal fan base to feed us ideas of power tests they want to see. Obviously, the long-tube headers are going to make the most power, but we wanted to find out what the difference really is versus shorter headers or even cast manifolds, so we can make the right decisions about price, sound, and ground clearance. The engine tested here is a BluePrint Engines 6.0L LS-based crate engine with BluePrint heads, a stock intake, and a Comp Cams roller cam. Engine Masters is presented by AMSOIL and supported by Mr. Gasket and Earl’s Vapor Guard.

Can the brilliant Ferrari 488 GTB hold on to its title as Autocar’s best driver’s car of the year?

Every autumn we set out to name Britain’s Best Driver’s Car, in our annual new sports car extravaganza. Last year the Ferrari 488 GTB saw off all comers to gain the title.

This year the 488 GTB is invited back as reigining champion, and goes up against 10 all new sports cars including the Porsche 911 R, Aston Martin GT8, Honda NSX, McLaren 675 LT, Porsche 718 Cayman S and BMW M2.

An early start for a supercar convoy to head and meet up with my friend and his new-look McLaren P1, now in purple carbon fibre – a very nice match to my 675LT Spider. If you’re very observant you may remember when I shot a convoy video with my 675LT Coupe and this very P1 back when it had yellow body panels in Monaco earlier this year.

The event itself turned into a bit of a carnival atmosphere on the street outside HR Owen Rolls-Royce in London, attended by a phenomenal array of supercars.
